I get all sorts of emails & some are definitely worth sharing:
Dear Savannah,
I have a favor to ask: With Oregon temps crawling towards the 90's I was on the phone with my 22 year old son stationed in Balad Iraq telling him of this and he reminded me that 90 degrees is their night time temps!
Daily, they face extreme heat, of 110-130 degrees while they faithfully serve our country without complaining!
Please, could you remind everyone how fortunate we are and when they feel a bit warm in our 90 temps that our girls and boys are over there suffering extreme heat, fighting for OUR freedom.
Please honor them with this recognition and ask for prayers to keep them safe. I miss my son everyday and I sure am proud of my boy for his heart’s desire to serve his country!
Let us never forget that, Freedom is never free!
Thanks
Sincerely,
One Proud Army Mom!

COMMENT: Hello Savannah~
My son Michael is graduating from boot camp for the US Navy on Friday. I leave tomorrow to go and see him. He has been gone since June 17th and although I have written him almost everyday and I was able to talk to him once I still miss him like crazy and can't wait to hug and kiss him. Could you please do me a favor in honor of my son and all the moms from Navyformoms.com and their sailors and play Michael Montgomery's Letters from Home. It would mean the world to me. I would also like to thank all my friends on navyformoms.com for all of their support through this emotional time.
Thank you,
Stasi from Battle Ground

If you listen you know I have lived in a lot of places, so let me fill in the blanks. (This first paragraph always stays the same, everything below it, is fresh & new).
